How We Research
Transparency first — how every Pocket Trip Planner itinerary is made.
We are research-based planners. We do not claim to have personally visited every destination on this site, and we will never fake a "we were there" story to sell a plan. What we compete on is structure and specificity: realistic timings, map-checked routes, and honest budget ranges.
Our rules
- Official sources first: opening arrangements, ticket rules and transport details are checked against official attraction and operator sites, and each guide carries a "last checked" date.
- Ranges, not invented prices: costs are published as typical ranges. Prices and hours change — every guide tells you to confirm before you book, because that is the truth.
- Map-checked: distances and stop order are verified on a map before a day plan is published. If a day cannot be driven or walked in the stated time, it does not ship.
- Licensed images only: photography is licensed stock (Unsplash/Pexels/Wikimedia) where used, never scraped from other travellers.
- Corrections welcome: found an error? Tell us and we fix it with a note.
